Your mission

Project management of Cryo-EM projects (Gene-to-Structure) including customer interactions with international Pharma and Biotech companies in the US and EU
Main contact person at Proteros as an interface between customers and Proteros
Setting up a scientific project strategy and translation into a commercial proposal
Acquisition of Cryo-EM projects
Suggestion of suitable solutions and technological approaches according to target/customer needs
Lead the science and manage project teams composed of scientists from Protein Science and Structural Biology department
Driving projects from gene to qualified hits according to research target profile (RTP) including mode of inhibition/action, biophysical validation and small molecule-bound protein structure

Your profile

Hands-on experience in Cryo-EM including enabling technologies in the areas of protein sciences, biophysical/biochemical assays, structural biology, and Hit identification
Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in pharma/biotech or CRO with a good understanding of Cryo-EM processes and terminologies, structure-based drug discovery, proteins and protein interactions with small-molecules and nucleic acids
Experience in project management: interaction with partners and/or customers, budget/timeline and quality control, experience in working in a CRO – managing customer projects is a plus
Service and commercial mindset
Strong analytical mind, excellent presentation and communication skills and eagerness to move projects to completion
Being able to envision a project as a whole package
