Your mission

• Provision of scientific and technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams to achieve corporate goals for challenging research projects within the field of insect cell culture
• Development, execution and optimization of protein production in insect cells for various upstream applications
• Evaluation of new technology/equipment to constantly improve our insect cell culture platform
• Preparation of all relevant project documentation (i.e. SOPs, technical reports, project plans, scientific presentations), their review and training 
• Presentation of the scientific results as well as convincing and confident communication of the content to colleagues, customers and business partners

Your profile

• PhD in biochemistry or related field with an excellent proven expertise in insect cell culture for protein production
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Good acquaintance with protein expression in insect cells via various baculovirus systems
• Experience in mid to small-scale expression
• Hands-on mentality with a problem-solving mindset and attention to details
• Independent, service-oriented way of working, with an outstanding team spirit and excellent organization and communication skills
