Your mission

Collaboration on multidisciplinary and challenging research projects in industrial drug development
Purification of proteins on a laboratory scale using state-of-the-art chromatographic techniques
Expression of recombinant proteins in various cell types
Analysis of proteins using various biochemical and biophysical methods
Careful documentation of your work steps in accordance with our internal regulations and our customers' specifications

Your profile

You have successfully completed your training as a CTA/MTA/BTA, chemistry/biology laboratory assistant, or bachelor's/master's degree in biology or biochemistry (no doctorate).
Thanks to your training and/or professional experience, you are familiar with protein chemistry and molecular biology working methods. In particular, you are familiar with chromatographic FPLC methods for purifying proteins on a laboratory scale.
You are motivated, curious, and enjoy innovative and challenging tasks.
You demonstrate great care and organizational skills when working on projects in the laboratory.
You are characterized by your independent working style, ability to work in a team, willingness to communicate, service orientation, and interest in new methods.
You have good MS Office skills and enjoy working with modern documentation and evaluation software.
You have good English and German language skills.

Ihre Aufgaben

Mitarbeit an multidisziplinären und anspruchsvollen Forschungsprojekten der industriellen Wirkstoffentwicklung
Aufreinigung von Proteinen im Labormaßstab mit Hilfe modernster chromatographischer Techniken
Expression rekombinanter Proteine in verschiedenen Zelltypen
Analyse von Proteinen unter Anwendung verschiedener biochemischer und biophysikalischer Methoden
Sorgfältige Dokumentation Ihrer Arbeitsschritte nach unseren internen Vorschriften sowie den Vorgaben unserer Kunden

Ihr Profil

Sie haben Ihre Ausbildung als CTA/MTA/BTA, Chemie- /Biologielaborant bzw. Bachelor/Master im Studiengang Biologie oder Biochemie mit gutem Ergebnis abgeschlossen (keine Promotion).
Aufgrund Ihrer Ausbildung und/oder Berufserfahrung kennen sie proteinchemische und molekularbiologische Arbeitsmethoden. Insbesondere chromatographische FPLC-Methoden zur Aufreinigung von Proteinen im Labormaßstab sind Ihnen bekannt.
Sie sind motiviert, neugierig und haben Spaß an innovativen und herausfordernden Tätigkeiten.
Sie zeigen große Sorgfalt sowie Organisationsgeschick bei der Bearbeitung von Projekten im Labor.
Sie zeichnen sich aus durch eine selbständige Arbeitsweise, Teamfähigkeit, Kommunikationsbereitschaft, Serviceorientiertheit sowie Interesse an neuen Methoden.
Sie besitzen gute MS Office- Kenntnisse und arbeiten gerne mit moderner Dokumentations- und Auswertungssoftware.
Sie haben gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse.
